What it means to Donate in Honor of
When you donate to PDJF in honor of someone, it means you are making a gift to celebrate a living person, group, or occasion while helping permanently disabled jockeys at the same time. An “in honor of” donation:
- Recognizes someone who has made a difference in your life or in racing
- Celebrates milestones like birthdays, retirements, achievements, or anniversaries
- Honors riders, trainers, owners, fans, or loved ones who care about the sport
- Turns appreciation into meaningful impact
Your gift says:
“This person matters to me—and I’m honoring them by helping others.”
PDJF can send a notification to the person or family you’re honoring, letting them know a donation was made in their name, creating a moment of gratitude, recognition, and purpose—while changing lives for disabled jockeys.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION
The PDJF has no guaranteed funding from within the horse racing industry and is 100% dependent on donations from people like YOU! The PDJF Endowment Fund is of critical importance to provide long-term, stable funding for many years to come so that we do not have to rely on the charitable donations of individuals and organizations year-to-year.
