The PDJF is self-reliant and has no guaranteed funding from within the horse racing industry. Donations, grants, sponsorships and support at events that benefit PDJF provide 100% of the funding that helps over 50 permanently disabled jockeys through monthly financial assistance. Once approved, a recipient receives help for the rest of their life.
